About me

I'm a twenty-one year old Journalism student at QUT from a small town just trying to make her way around the city. I live in a small apartment with my housemate (who I use to make pizzas with), two cats and a wasp infested lantern that came with the apartment. I don't like appealing to the stereotype of 'crazy cat lady' so instead of telling you all about my housemate's cat's weird obsession with q-tips I'll just show you a photo of my cat, Panda, and I.

I'm currently living the dream as a full time university student, and by 'living the dream' I mean working two casual jobs, volunteering as a news reader at Switch1197, taking on internships when they're offered and trying to keep my grades above water at the same time.

I'm doing all of this so that maybe one day an employer will see it, think 'hey, this girl is okay at writing and clearly has a passion for it' and let me write things for them in exchange for small amounts of money. Really, I would love to work as a foreign correspondent writing powerful pieces or producing powerful television programs to send home to Australian viewers.
